Taekwon-do is a martial art founded in 1955 in North Korea. This sport was then called Tae Soo Do and was later renamed Taekwon-do. The founding countries are in the Asian continent. The International Taekwon-do Federation – ITF, was established in 1966.

Taekwon-do develops a personality and body to “fight” for justice; it unites all people, regardless of religion, race, ideological or political beliefs, who strive to build a peaceful, just and humane society. The already mentioned principles of taekwon-do are also based on these basic civilization values: politeness, honesty, perseverance, self-control and unbreakable spirit. There are four basic disciplines of taekwon-do that are interconnected: forms, sparring, strength test and special technique.

Taekwon-do is an unarmed fight for self-defense. Taekwon-do literally means Tae – foot technique, Kwon – hand technique and do – art or way of life.

The trainings are divided into three groups:

The roots of kickboxing date back to the early 1970s from the US. First, the competitors tried themselves in the discipline of full contact. Soon this martial art came to Europe and also to us. Later, other disciplines such as semi-contact, light contact, low kick, Thai boxing and music kata developed. After the independence of Slovenia, all seven societies that cultivated kickboxing founded the Association for Contact Martial Arts in Maribor in 1992, which in 1993 was renamed the Kickboxing Association of Slovenia. Its competitors have achieved several high-profile results so far, including several world and European champions.

Kickboxing is a mixture of several martial arts into one. The main sports are karate, taekwon-do and boxing.

Kickbox training does not have an upper age limit and allows you to train only recreationally. Training is suitable for strengthening the whole body. It instils confidence in ourselves and takes care of the coordination and mobility of each individual.

Boxing (sometimes referred to as Western boxing or pugilism) is a martial art where participants in the weight class fight with their fists.

Although fist fighting seems natural to many individuals, the Greeks made sure that boxing positioned itself as a sport with certain rules. Organized tournaments for professionals have been introduced.

We can say that the birth of boxing as a sport is recorded when boxing was included in the Olympic Games as far back as 688 BC. Modern boxing first developed in Europe, especially in the UK.

Bian Box (is a derivative of Bianca-Boxing). We are the first centre in Slovenia with such exercises.

Extremely popular and explosive aerobic exercise, where we take you through a series of hand and foot kicks into the very pleasure of martial arts. The training is performed on self-standing punching bags accompanied by the most modern and explosive music. Depending on the physical fitness of the trainees, Bian Box is a medium to very high-intensity workout based on original choreographies, accelerated activation of the muscles of the arms (front and back upper arm muscles), legs (front and back thigh and shin muscles), all abdominal, back and shoulder muscles and buttock muscles.

It is intended for everyone who wants to have fun using martial arts in the aerobic world, learn proper punches, gain fitness and shape your body at the same time.

Bian box is a medium-intensity workout, with medium-intensity choreography performance. The exercise is intended for both beginners and experienced practitioners.

It is a sports exercise meant for the first learning of the basics of martial arts for children from 3 to 5 years. Children get acquainted through play with first exercises and positions covered by martial arts. It works great for balance, discipline, mastery and mutual respect.

Body boom is one of the fastest and most effective ways to shape the body. It is a varied, high-intensity workout where, with the help of a wide variety of sports props such as a kettlebell, TRX straps, medicine balls, you go through exercises for the whole body. It is a blend of training for strength, explosiveness, speed and endurance. This is an exercise in which we activate all major muscle groups in one hour and is intended for both beginners and experienced exercisers. It is suitable for people of all shapes and sizes who want to improve their well-being and strengthen the body.

It is an exercise where you will face your inner strength and will and at the same time your body will progress from hour to hour. You will be more stable, explosive and resilient each time. Exercise is a recipe for a strong, agile and fit body.

Only the female sex is involved in this exercise. Here, training is performed to a greater extent in pairs or individually, where kickbox punches are performed in a combination of arms and legs. It is an intense exercise where you strengthen all parts of your body and in addition to pleasant company and music, do a training that involves some effort. Do something positive for yourself. Also, a great base for gaining some fitness.

Training takes place with high-intensity combinations and punches. Exercise is based on aerobic exercise. Part of the training is also dedicated to endurance and strength building, as well as exercises from Body boom training.

Great workout for anyone who needs some stretching and calming after a hard day’s work. With the intensity of stretching-based exercises, we make our body feel youthful and agile again. With soothing music or in silence, we make you feel renewed. Individual exercises are defined by stretching each part of your body.

It is an anaerobic workout that consists of basic kickboxing combinations. We add strength training, endurance training with various aids such as trx, kettebell, medicine balls and exercises with our own weight. We combine all these exercises into one workout by devoting half of the workout to improving anaerobic fitness endurance training and the other half to strength training. No prior knowledge of kickboxing is required for training.

Our professional trainers adapt to everyone, both in terms of time and by choosing a series of exercises or custom training. They adapt to your wishes, e.g. which part of the body you would like to strengthen, possibly on fitness, strength, stretching … in short, as you will both agree. You can attend the training alone or in pairs.
